Some of you may remember a second blog I ran about a year ago – Daily Glam?
Don’t go looking for it now, it’s been taken down – but it was a blog to teach you how to dress.
Don’t worry, I wasn’t the one giving the fashion advice – I was working with Stylists to come up with different outfits each day… and I loved it.
Truly LOVED it.
It made my days so much easier in that all I had to do was open my e-mail and see what the outfit for the day was.
I received compliments every single day on how put together I looked, how current and trendy, how “un-yoga-pantsy” I was.
Since the closure of Daily Glam, I’ve reverted back to my paint-stained-jeans and/or yoga pants and t-shirts style.
No more compliments, no more confidence…. Gosh I miss Daily Glam.
In an effort to get dressed properly for the rest of the month, I’m going to re-post one of the capsule wardrobes from last year.
You don’t have to have a lot of clothes to create a wardrobe that looks like you do. This capsule consisted of 17 articles and was mixed and matched to create 25 different looks. Talk about getting your money’s worth out of your clothing AND by streamlining your closet down to a set of core essentials, you’re still staying true to the Kon Mari organizing we did a month or so ago!
I bought the mustard sweater last year when it was in the capsule, so I cheated a bit here – but you don’t have to have the exact cardigan… take whatever colour your have in your closet and make it work.
These are some of my favourites:
I know, this is a DIY and crafts blog – but that doesn’t mean that you have to leave the house looking like a frump-meister – especially when the decision making has already been taken care of!
Go grab a cardigan, your favourite jeans, some cute flats and a that necklace that has been sitting there since you bought it a year ago….
Put them on, get some gloss and mascara and strut your stuff.
I promise, you’ll feel better about yourself and might even get a compliment or two.
Have a great one!

Beautiful! I am amazed at the variety!
Thanks
Very impressed. I just can’t always find the cut and style of clothing that I like.
I can’t find a waist to fit clothing like that! lol
I would love to know the specifics of the items, like the brands of the tops in particular. I’m trying to hunt around for them.
Thanks!
Guess I’m very late to the game here, have always loved this capsule and ready to do something about it! However, I look online A LOT and haven’t seen anything even similar to the raspberry sleeveless shirt/shell and the light gray waterfall? cardigan. If anyone sees this and has any clues, please post. Thank You
I can’t find a good berry sleeveless either but did find a vince camuto gray open cardigan at Nordstrom recently
Not quite 25, two of the outfits are duplicated but still amazing !! I would definitely try a site like this when I retire and downsize. Thanks for the inspiration and ideas
