Kleenex box for your car

Good Morning everyone!

Another busy week over here – believe it or not, I do more than get facials and do yoga (more on that tomorrow).
I truly do work for a living.

Blogging is fun, and really doesn’t feel like work – but I do have two of them to write and maintain and pin and share and instagram etc.
Then there’s the projects I need to complete in order to have something to photo edit and blog about.

Fun if you love it – but absolutely, positively not for the faint of heart!

What I love most about blogging is trying something new.
We’re not talking skydiving here – just simple projects that most people tend to hem and haw about and never get around to.

I ACT!  Impulsively and most often without a plan – but even “learned the hard way” posts can offer an element of enlightenment and humour – so what the heck!

I try to accomplish all of those pins I’ve stashed away on my boards.  I mean, what’s the point of pinning a great idea if you never see it to fruition right?

This is another one of those…

Do you keep a box of kleenex in your car?

Does it look like this:

This one is relatively new, so it isn’t as damaged and drenched as they usually seem to get in the car.
Kids stepping on them, the box sitting on the floor in a wet puddle, or jammed under a seat until you need it.

Don’t you hate that?

Time to change my tactics!

Enter plastic box from Dollarama.

I didn’t even have to go and buy this one because it was sitting holding the girls markers which have since been rehomed.

Simple pencil box with a clasp for closing tight.

With a knife, cut a rectangle out of the lid.
Small enough not to weaken the structure of the box, but large enough that the kleenex won’t rip every time you pull one out.

Doesn’t have to be pretty – this is about function – PLUS, once you load it up with kleenex you won’t be able to tell that my edges were a little off.

The kids can kick this, leave it in a puddle, it can get stuffed under a seat or piled under groceries and the kleenex inside will still be safe and more importantly – usable.

“Impulsive-bloggo-Mom to the rescue!”

Tomorrow – how to unclog toilets and shower drains at the same time!  (just kidding – unless you know something I should be trying?) lol

Have a great one!
