I’ve mentioned before about the abundance of iPads in this house.
I’ve also mentioned my disdain for mess.
I surfed the web to try to come up with a solution for charging and storing all of our iPads, but all of the options were pretty pricey.
So I came up with a solution myself!
I bought a magazine rack from HomeSense for $7.
I turned it on it’s side;
and I drilled holes through the back of it! (or what was previously the bottom)
Put a power bar behind your new iPad dock and feed the USB end of your cords through the holes.
Attach a power bar to the back, or just rest it in behind your new charging station.
All you’ll see will be the USBs and not the tangled mess of wires and plugs! A cheap and easy iPad dock to keep you organized and tidy!
Gosh, it’s tough being this brilliant AND good looking!

[…] If you have several tablets or bigger devices this easy DIY charging station can really help you. Ironically it is made out of a magazine holder. Why not use an old print holder for your digital items. Pick a magazine holder that is your style. If you use a wired magazine holder you don’t even have to drill any holes. On the other hand the solid magazine holder will hide the wires better. Tutorial […]
