More Grain Sack Striping

I can’t help it – I loved the look of the dresser and I had another piece that needed a “bit” of work…

beat up bookshelf that my daughter half painted pink

Another laminate piece that Chloe “helped” by working on.

She’s 6, so a few more years and another hour or so of attention span and she’s got potential.

The bookcase was $10 – so no matter how it turned out, I wasn’t breaking the bank by letting her release her inner Artiste.

A bit of leftover paint and a grain sack stripe:

and you’d never know it was hot pink just a couple of days ago.

Better yet, it’s taken my dresser from a one-off piece to part of a coordinated bedroom set!

I see a nightstand in my future…..

Please forgive the mayhem that is my garage… unfortunately, it always looks like this.

Have a great one!
