The weekend had me running in circles and feeling a bit run down, so I apologize for not having an original post this morning.
Instead, I’m going to “re-share” one from June 2013 – that perhaps you haven’t seen…
Back tomorrow with my “game face” on!
Do you have a drawer that looks like this?
I know this is where we drop all of our manuals, warranties and little extra parts that come with purchases.
I have no idea what’s in here.
I could never find a part or manual if I needed one.
Let’s face it – this is a total waste.
So I was surfing one of my favourite blogs, and I came across this post by “A Bowl Full of Lemons” where she gave a step-by-step (not that it’s rocket science) on how to get this mess under control.
So I did.
I got my sheet protectors, my super-binder and my mighty labeler and spent about 30 minutes doing this:
What a simple and effective way to organize manuals!
Locking binder, page protectors and a labeller to give you this compact, catalogued storage solution for manuals, warranties, spare parts and/or keys.
Organize manuals for the home separate from ones for the workshop or office.
What started as the chaotic drawer in the first photo is now an efficient use of space and an easily accessible resource should I ever need furnace repairs or my dishwasher warranty.
AND I found my fire extinguisher!
This is a win all around!
