In Canada it’s a Holiday (Thanksgiving) so I’m not going to hit you with any elaborate recipes, cleaning or DIY’s today.
Just sit and digest your turkey.
BUT, if you do want a little something to do while you’re sitting – you could always sharpen your scissors….
All you need is a piece of sandpaper;
I use 220 grit because I was worried that a rougher paper might actually damage the blades. Anything finer felt too smooth to the hand, so I wasn’t sure they would be effective enough.
220 seems to work perfectly.
In fact, I decided to sharpen my paper cutter as well;
Just slice away at the sandpaper with your cutter. Each slice should sharpen it a little bit more.
Note: if you have a sliding slicer – I don’t think this will work. Attempt at your own risk.
Ready for all the Christmas cards and tags I’ll need to make!
I bought my cutter/trimmer through Stampin’ Up, but I couldn’t find it online to refer you to…
Instead I found links to a Martha Stewart version – and I believe her product line is of decent quality? (and considerably less than I paid for my cutter)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Go digest now. lol
Have a great one!
