Upcycled Crates

Someone posted a status update on Facebook the other day in which they were looking to unload some crates.

You KNOW I’m all over that!

Only problem – they were a bit pricey – but they did get me to surfing the internet for the “crate-est” ideas!

Check these out and tell me you’re not heading out scavenging crates later today. lol

How about repurposing a few to create this rustic desk?

How about upcycling a few crates to create a coffee table – complete with storage and wheels!

Cut a crate in half and create book storage for the kids.  This would be great to keep track of library books by the front door!

I love this market display – it would be fantastic in a kitchen to display and store potatoes, onions, apples and the like.

Tuck a couple of crates under your coffee table for a quick tidy before guests arrive.

Not only can you store your wood near the fire, but you can use it as a decorative holiday display at the same time!

Castors again, but this time to keep your magazine collection close to your reading chair.

I think I need one of each – who knew repurposing could look so good?

Time to go salvaging!

HEY!  There’s an idea – You could use crates for trunk storage!  (not as a condom of course)

Have a great one!
