This simple Christmas centrepiece can be styled so many ways. I’ve gone with greenery and pinecones, but you could easily swap them out for ornaments, small gifts, or even candies!
This beautiful Christmas vignette is created with a few items that you might have around your home, or that you could easily find at your local dollar store.
You will need: (Amazon affiliate links to items I used or are similar. For full Amazon affiliate disclosure, please see bottom of the page)
- (3) 12″embroidery hoops (mine are stained, but you don’t have to do this step)
- cake stand, plate or shallow footed bowl. (these two options are actually prettier than mine, so I might order as well! )
- pillar candle (battery operated would be best)
- faux or real green stems, these can even be picked from your yard
- pinecones
- battery-operated LED twinkle lights
The video shows the step-by-step for making your Christmas centrepiece – it really isn’t rocket science at all – but perhaps you’ve never considered framing it with embroidery hoops?
I had a pinecone pillar candle I found on sale at Crate & Barrel after last Christmas. I love it so much, I hate to burn it – but it really made a pretty addition to my little coffee table display. There are a ton of shaped candles you could use – trees, stars, Santa’s, etc – but a simple pillar candle, or even a few taper candles, are all you need.
What I like best about this Christmas centrepiece is that it adds so much height to my coffee table. I can surround it with just about anything and I’ll have great proportions for an aesthetically pleasing display.
Pin it for later:
Hey! If you make this in some altered version – please send photos! I’d love to share all of the ideas on this page!
Have a great one!
