Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to their computer background. Some people like it when they have beautiful landscapes to look at, others enjoy a basic single colour wallpaper. Personally, I enjoy my wallpaper to have a bit of character and link-in with the season we’re in.
By now, everywhere that is going to get a Spring, should be in the throes of it.
Trees and shrubs are flowering, new growth is shoulders-out of the ground by now and we are past the threat of overnight frost.
WAHOO!
I actually planted a week or so ago, so I jumped the gun a bit – as I do every year – in an over-eager anticipation of warm breezes, the smell of freshly mowed lawns and gardens laden with colour.
Did I mention I love Spring?
I know, I know – EVERYONE loves Spring.
Despite how much we may (or may not) love the Season, work must go on and being able to actually sit out and enjoy it is another thing altogether.
Sitting here in front of my computer I got to wishing for some “Spring” in my little home office… which lead to a Pinterest surfing session (work avoidance behaviour) to find a bright, cheerful and inspiring Spring desktop wallpaper.
There are hundreds of Spring desktop wallpaper options available, but I narrowed it down to 6 of my favourites – that don’t lead to purchasing or spammy sites.
Please click the link below each image to be taken to the talent behind each screensaver – and to download your own (free) high-definition version (most also have a mobile version available as well).
What is a better indicator of Spring than tulips? Don’t worry about the image quality of my screen here – I had to edit a screen shot into a screen shot so it’s a tad grainy. The original version for download is so fresh and crisp you can almost smell the buds.

Strawberry desktop wallpaper from AEWallpaper.xyz
Can you feel the warm, sweet, juicyness of these strawberries? Nothing against imported berries that see us through the Winter, but there isn’t anything better than fresh-from-the-field strawberries. Maybe this image will see me through to dessert tonight?
Gerbera daisy desktop wallpaper by Brit & Co
If you need room to actually see your work on your computer, then this Spring desktop wallpaper will brighten your day (even while you’re working). Gerbera’s are little sunshines in disguise aren’t they? Tuck your files above their smiles – I just came up with that! Cute eh? lol
Peony Fever desktop wallpaper available at FlowerMuse.com
This gorgeousness is what smiles at me when I turn my computer on. Peonies are so spectacular, but so short-lived in Spring that the only way to prolong their life (and your enjoyment) is to use this as your Spring desktop wallpaper.
This and a slew of other floral desktop wallpapers available to download at DesignLoveFest.com
I love that these dahlias are so large and full, and yet there’s still room to keep your files in view. DesignLoveFest has HUNDREDS of free desktop and mobile wallpapers – including several others in this series of ‘deconstructed bouquets’.
Finally, I thought I’d leave you with a bit of inspiration – for when flowers aren’t enough to help you make it through your work day;

This one isn’t really Spring-specific, but the colours reminded me of peonies so I decided to add it to my collection.
Set your desktop to rotate through the images, or change them up daily/weekly/monthly to make your work zone as Spring-er-ific as the outside.
Have a great one!
