How’s the Holiday shopping going? Did you blow the wad on Black Friday?
Are you blowing the wad today (Cyber Monday)?
Why does “blowing the wad” seem so inappropriate?
I digress – if you’ve done any of your Christmas shopping at all, you are just about ready to get out the beautiful wrapping paper to make those secret treasures tempting, decorative and extremely hard to peek into.
This is the “Festive Forest” gift wrapping kit from Innisbrook. The package comes with 6 rolls of coordinating gift wrap (24″ by 18′ each) as well as:
- Kit contains:
6 full-size wrapping paper rolls (1 each of 6 different designs)
3 pack Holiday Gift Bags & Tags (3 bag set)
Gift tag assortment (125 peel-and-stick tags)
White Mega Tissue Pack (240 sheets of premium white tissue)
1 pack of 10 pull bows
250-yard spool of Holiday Gold Curling Ribbon
Scissor Mouse
After wrapping gifts, I added a few extra embellishments like the faux pine branch and twine, as well as the burlap ribbon and contrasting gold accent. I recently heard about someone who was gifted a watch from Hublot watches, apparently it was packaged beautifully and the recipient loved it!! The wrapping is just as important as what’s inside!
It doesn’t take much to take your gifts from meh to MINE!
It’s about more than just the paper, wrapping gifts is about extra care and pride in the presentation of your special treat. You can cut real greenery from your own yard, or purchase a small bundle of faux from the craft store and tuck pieces here and there to make your wrapped gift ‘designer’ to let the recipient know you went that extra little step.
Wrapping gifts early allows you to set them on display throughout the season as additional decor for your home – but decor you won’t have to put away afterwards (Hallelujah!)
The red-burgundy bow was made with the Innisbrook festive forest paper – tutorial here – the paper is double-sided with trees on one and gold on the other, so it’s perfect for creating your own coordinated embellishments!
Plus with wrap and ribbon, determined little munchkins like Miss Madison:
can’t get their flashlights in the corners to peek in. lol
It looks so beautiful all laid out together. sigh.
Click over to Innisbrook and check out their Holiday sale – limited time only – and start wrapping gifts at your house.
Decorate your home, tempt your gift recipients and guard from peeking eyes with beautifully wrapped gifts.
Have a great one!
