Making a home office for a teenager

Something happens when kids move from “children” to “teenagers” – styles, tastes, activities all change drastically.  In order to create an age-appropriate space for my teen, I attempted a $0 makeover to create a home office suitable for a teenager.

My house is in such a disarray.

For every project I finish, there are two more that are needed – mainly because I shift the mess from one room to the next.

My girls switched bedrooms last year sometime and Chloë claimed our […]

Tweenager Period Kit

Times have changed and having a period should be as natural as breathing.  It IS as natural as breathing.  I wanted to usher it in with a Tweenager period kit to open the lines of communication and (hopefully) teach my girls that there is nothing to be embarrassed of.

Toddler room idea – bear shelf and stool

Make this simple bear shelf and bear chair and create a sweet reading nook for the toddler in your life.

I don’t have a toddler (sniff, sniff) but I do have a friend with a new baby which was excuse enough to create a couple of little decor pieces for his bedroom.

Yeah, I’m pushy – decorating someone else’s child’s bedroom. lol

I’ve actually had both the bear shelf and the bear stool completed for months now, so I’ll share the project, but […]
