I wrote the other day about our Ladies Night yoga and the post-workout binge-fest which included a new concoction I created.
Mainly for lack of ingredients for the “real” version, but since it turned out to be a GIANT hit, I thought I’d share my recipe here:
Strawberry Sangria
- 1 bottle Strawberry Zinfandel (the largest you can find)
- 2 cups non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri mix
- 1 bottle Sprite
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving so the fruit has a chance to flavour the mixture.
I made a giant pitcher of Strawberry Sangria, but I forgot to take photos (I didn’t know it was going to taste THAT good), but here are a couple of photos before it was all gobbled down.
It was sweet, summery and a perfect patio-party drink.

I’m not a wine drinker – it tastes like rotten fruit to me – but I drank this like it was kool-aid and had a pounding head like a Japanese drum the next morning…. so be careful.
It’s good fantastic – but it’s deadly.
Try it – you’ll find your dance moves improve, you get better looking, your jokes are funnier and heck – even Hubby becomes more attractive.
