Today’s post is just a quickie, but it came about because a friend stopped by the other day to ask if I could set up a word document for her to create foldable labels for some back-to-school treats she wanted to give to her class.

I figured if I was making treat bag tags anyways, I might as well share the template in case you want to create your own for your little back-to-schoolers.

This is the pdf that you are welcome to use – these are sized to fit Avery 5263 shipping labels, but you could also print them on paper and cut them out, which is what I did here.

You fold the treat bag tags in half at the crab claws so that both sides of the tag will be the correct way up when attached to your treats.

My friend teaches Kindergarten, so she asked me to have them signed with her and her TA’s name – but I’ve left the spot blank on the free printable ones above so you can write in your own.

All you have to do is print and cut out (and attach treats) – I’m setting you up to be a total rockstar here!

These would work for skating school, Greek school or any activity that is typically referred to as being a “school”.  You could use these to welcome new teachers to your school or as a thank you to those who’ve been around for years.

Ideally you’d fill them with swedish fish or maybe those cracker goldfish – but all I had in-house was sour jujubes, so we’ll go with that.

What a cute way to ease the anxiety and create some excitement around the first day of school!

Great idea Jen!

Have a great one!
